From the humble beginnings of Rushlift Mechanical Handling in Bishop Auckland in the early 1980’s, Rushlift has grown quickly in the last few years as a member of the Specialist Hire Group Ltd., having acquired Lex Komatsu South Ltd., SMH Ltd. and Peter Turner Fork Lifts Ltd. in the last three years.
Rushlift’s innovative approach to providing materials handling solutions goes beyond the traditional approach to selling or hiring a fork lift truck, and is backed by a unique web based Fleet Management System (FMS) that not only provides customers with real time information on the equipment and their account with Rushlift, but allows them to log and track breakdowns in the same way as the depot service team.
