The UK’s largest independent materials handling business, Rushlift, has become the sole UK distributor for Svetruck, following its acquisition of Newport-based Sleabond Limited.

After being named in the Fastest 50 growth companies based in the North East, The Specialist Hire Group Ltd, parent company of Rushlift Ltd, gained national recognition for its rapid growth by being named in the Fast Track 100 in the Sunday Times on 2nd December 2007.

Rushlift's parent company, The Specialist Hire Group has been recognised as the fourth fastest growing business in the North East, by the Newcastle based law firm Ward Hadaway. Ward Hadaway run this award annually in conjunction with the Newcastle paper The Journal measuring all businesses with either a Head Office or site in the North East region. All the companies included are ranked according to the growth in both turnover and profits over the last three years.
