Purchase of J G Holdings Ltd

With effect from 10th October Rushlift Limited completed the purchase of J G Holdings Ltd. the parent company of Sleabond Ltd.
Sleabond Ltd, which will become a subsidiary of Rushlift Ltd, is the importer of SVE range of heavy forklift and container handlers, with capacities of from 10 tonne to 52 tonne, manufactured in Sweden. Sleabond specialises in the hire of heavy forklift trucks and has a small specialist hire fleet mainly in steel handling, docks and timber yards.
The business is located in Newport, South Wales and will add another depot to the growing Rushlift network. With immediate effect Dennis Shaw is appointed as Regional Director, South West, with day-to-day responsibility for Sleabond. Les Morris, a Director of Sleabond will continue in the business adding his valuable experience to the Rushlift team.
Whilst Sleabond will continue to operate as a stand alone business, the intention is to market ‘Rushlift Heavy’ as a concept to customers whereby they can get access to the combined heavy truck fleet of both Sleabond and Rushlift no matter which company they contact.
