CELEBRATING APPRENTICE AARON’S EXCEPTIONAL PROGRESS AT RUSHLIFT

February 27, 2025

At Rushlift, we take great pride in developing the next generation of industry professionals through our apprenticeship programme. One of our standout apprentices, Aaron, his hard work, determination and enthusiasm have set him apart. His exceptional progress has not gone unnoticed, as he has completed his second-year coursework ahead of schedule and taking the unusual step of beginning to look at his third-year studies early.

Aaron’s progress has been widely praised by his mentors and assessors. Dave Owen, F-TEC Assessor, was highly impressed with Aaron’s work, noting his progress has been outstanding. After reviewing his F-Trac records and coursework, it became clear that Aaron had completed all his year two work ahead of schedule, including witness testimonies and workbooks. His attention to detail and structured approach stood out, leading to the unusual recommendation that he begin looking at third-year coursework early, an achievement that reflects his exceptional dedication.

Sam Cook, Rushlift’s Technical Training Manager, has also been impressed with Aaron’s positive attitude and eagerness to learn “Aaron has made good progress within his second year, showing great enthusiasm and a positive attitude. He is always eager to learn and is becoming a valuable member of the workshop team. This was clearly evident when he won the Employee of the Month Award. Keep up the good work”.

Aaron’s progression is a testament to his hard work and support provided by our dedicated apprenticeship mentors. Paul Witherford, Rushlift’s Operations Manager South highlights the significance of Aaron’s achievements “Aaron has demonstrated the true value of an apprenticeship and the professional and personal rewards it brings. His focus and determination to succeed have resulted in his tutor’s recommendation to start working on his third-year tasks while still in his second year, an extremely rare step that speaks volumes about his commitment. He is now a key member of our Northampton Workshop team, and his confidence has grown immensely in recent months. Well done, Aaron”.

Aaron himself has reflected on his apprenticeship journey with pride. He has found the balance between college and hands-on learning manageable, with dedicated time each week to focus on his studies. He has especially valued the practical experience gained in the workshop, where he has developed skills needed to become a fully qualified engineer. His journey at Rushlift has affirmed his passion for the industry and he is more motivated than ever to continue building his career.

Aaron’s journey is a shining example of what can be achieved through hard work, dedication and the right support system. His rapid progress sets high standards for future apprentices and showcases the success of structured on-the-job learning. His achievements highlight the strengths of Rushlift’s Apprenticeship Programme and the opportunities available for those willing to commit themselves to their development.

We are incredibly proud of Aaron and look forward to seeing his continued success in the years ahead. His journey is just beginning and with his determination and work ethic, there is no doubt he has a bright future in the industry. Congratulations Aaron and keep up the fantastic work!
