In addition to providing all types of forklift trucks, from powered pallet trucks to wire-guided systems, Rushlift hires and maintains a wide range of industrial equipment such as sweepers, mobile plants, and lorry loader cranes.

About the role
To support all engineers with technical knowledge and training.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the Technical Trainer and Training Department and critical point of contact for the Group.
  • Providing Technical support to Rushlift Engineers
  • Providing Technical Training on OEM equipment – Linde/Doosan/Still/Mitsubishi/Jungheinrich/Toyota
  • Provide Training on Abrasive wheels/manual handling/slinging and lifting
  • Provide Training on Thorough examinations
  • Carry out Induction training on new engineering employees
  • Identify and arrange outside training requirements – driver training etc.
  • Liaise with colleges on Apprentice training

What we are looking for:
  • Education Required: Minimum GCSE Math’s/English/Physics City & Guilds Engineering qualification
  • Experience Required:10 + Years within the materials handling industry preferably with training experience
  • Travel Required:<25%
  • Experience in the MHE Industry.
  • Experience with Engines/Hydraulics and Electronic control systems
  • Thorough understanding of the MHE industry.
  • Ability to Prioritize and schedule effectively
  • IT skills in Microsoft products including Outlook/Powerpoint & Excel
  • Open and challenging mindset.
