We are “thinking differently” here at Doosan Rushlift and are expanding our Sales Force at a rapid rate, we are looking for a number of Business Managers to work in our Territory Sales Team across the UK. Working from home or out of multiple depot sites, you will need to be a self-starter with a proven track record of success in sales.

What do you do on a day to day basis working for Doosan Rushlift?

Cold calling, contacting and meeting with existing/new customers, use the CRM system, put together proposals, demos.

What is your background in Sales?

Previously a sales account manager for a water treatment manufacturer. I was in the role for 2 ½ years.

How does Doosan Rushlift differ from your previous roles?

A much larger variation of customers to contact. A lot more cold calling to develop new business. The products are a lot more technical than what I previously sold. Much longer decision making processes.

What do you like most working for Doosan Rushlift?

Colleagues – everyone is lovely, extremely helpful and we all want each other to succeed.

What sort of support do you receive from Doosan Rushlift to help you with your role?

Product training, sales training, management are very willing to help us to secure a deal and support us in any other way possible.

Would you recommend Doosan Rushlift to friends and family as an employer?

Yes… (family already recommended it to me!)

If yes…why?

Fantastic company who are driving to be successful. Lots of progression can be made if you work hard and put the effort in.

Finally where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?

Preferably managing a team of territory sales people or working as a corporate account manager.

When did you start working for Doosan Rushlift?

I started working for Doosan Rushlift in June 2017

What do you do on a day to day basis working for Doosan Rushlift?

Day to Day is working on building a solid prospect and customer base to allow me to generate truck sales and also Brand awareness to my designated patch.

What is your background in Sales?

My background in Sales has predominantly been in Media sales, in many roles I have started with a virgin territory and built up my client base over time leading to working with some large multinational companies and also SME’s progressing through the business to be a senior member of the team.

How does Doosan Rushlift differ from your previous roles?

My previous role was a small business so the infrastructure and feeling part of a Global organisation wasn’t there and also the support and resource to tap into was down to me, I was the resource and the support came from only two other people.

Working for Doosan Rushlift, I feel part of something bigger but also with the local feel, working to achieve one goal and that is to build our Brand awareness even more than is currently and to look to the future and become the Fork truck manufacturer of choice.

What do you like most working for Doosan Rushlift?

The vision the company has moving forward to gain a greater foothold in the UK MHE market is something that I want to be a part of.

What sort of support do you receive from Doosan Rushlift to help you with your role?

I must admit that when I first joined because of the company I was joining I thought I would have had a more intensive training programme to allow me to hit the ground running as I had not been in this industry before however being thrown in at the deep end I think also was a help and as time went on I realised that everyone was more than happy to help, Take time out of their day to come on customer visits, Site surveys, Demos etc and if I didn’t know something then I only need pick up the phone which I did and still do on many occasions.

Would you recommend Doosan Rushlift to friends and family as an employer?

Yes I would most definitely.

If yes…why?

Because, the reason I joined was I bought into the companies ethos and where they wanted to take the company and also what the company is as a whole, who we are!!!

I wanted to be part of something that is not only successful now but even more successful in the future.

Finally where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?

In 5 years’ time I would like to see myself as either working in the corporate team at Doosan Rushlift or being in a management role.
