Head of Corporate Accounts

Reports to: Sales Director

Location: National

Travel Required:  75>%

Overall purpose:

To manage the Corporate Accounts team whilst ensuring the Corporate Accounts sales target is achieved.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Ensure the company achieves the Corporate Account Sales Target Annually
  • Ensure all members of the team are focused on the development and procurement of prospective accounts
  • Support the Corporate Account Managers as the senior company representative with potential/customers
  • Monitor and measure the team against agreed KPIs and performance
  • Development of the team to a high standard through coaching and mentoring
  • Guidance and daily coaching of the corporate team
  • Everyday management of the Corporate account function ensuring, the team works in conjunction with other departments and in line with the Doosan Credo
  • Responsible for the implementation of all employee personal development plans in conjunction with company guidelines
  • Handling of all HR related matters in accordance with both company and legal guidelines in conjunction with HR
  • Oversee that tenders are allocated effectively and ensure all support functions are available for tenders when required
  • Oversee deal structures to ensure revenue is maximised
  • Building and delivering the annual strategy and support the business towards achievement of its objectives
  • Attend Senior Management meetings
  • Prepare and present reports and data as required

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Desirable/ Essential

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years Capital Equipment Sales experience E
  • Minimum of 5 years MHE Sales experience D
  • Minimum of 3 years managing an MHE sales Team E

Knowledge

  • A full understanding of Corporate sales process E
  • Understanding of corporate businesses with need for use of capital equipment D
  • Experience of working within logistics environments D

  • Communication skills – verbal and written E
