Operations Manager

The South

Overall purpose:

To manage the whole southern operations

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Ensuring the annual company vision is cascaded to all service and after sales departments, thus affording the greatest opportunity of achievement of set KPIs and budget objectives
  • Providing motivation and direction to all service and operations colleagues
  • Responsible for the further identification and development of all operations colleagues
  • Constant improvement of the service operation efficiencies and identification of growth areas
  • Responsibility for all internal & external training requirements in conjunction with the UK Technical Manager
  • Ensuring all company Health & Safety requirements are in place working with the SHEQC Manager where applicable
  • Close working relationship with the Asset Manager to identify all non-profitable units in operation at the earliest opportunity to enable potential replacement sales
  • Proactive support of the Ops Director ensuring the constant support of all company messages and communications, along with the continued implementation of the Doosan Credo culture
  • Handling of customer complaints where required to a satisfactory resolution
  • Implementation of visible service operation KPI’s throughout all centres to create a competitive working environment
  • Identification of all service and after sales areas which could be improved to increase added company profitability
  • Responsible for the implementation of all employee personal development plans in conjunction with company guidelines
  • Handling of all employee personnel issues in accordance with both company and legal guidelines

Industry specific experience within MHE E

Experience of working at senior management level E

IOSH Managing Safely E

Full Driving License E
