On Wednesday 27th June, we held our annual Charity Golf Day at Collingtree Park Golf Club, our local course in Northampton. It was a fantastic day, the weather was remarkable and the course was in pristine condition, not to mention the high standard of golf played throughout the day, we definitely saw some amazing scores!
The day was held to raise money for the London to Paris Bike Ride in which a number of the Doosan family are partaking next month.
A few alternative competitions took place during the day, and those who were there agreed, “Who knew how far a marshmallow would travel off the tee!” Many prizes were won and a huge thanks to Dawson Group who kindly sponsored the 1st Prize for the day.
All monies raised will be put towards the following worthwhile charities –Sue Ryder, Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research, MNDA, Help for Heroes and Cynthia Spencer Hospice.
Here’s what some of the attendees thought:
“Thank you for the invitation and opportunity to take park in your Charity Golf Day. What a fantastic day, extremely well organised, great company, lovely course and you smashed it with the weather. You did yourself, the company and the charities proud. Well done. Speaking on behalf of myself and my colleagues, we all had a great day and again appreciated the opportunity to take part.”
– Keith MacDonald, Sales Director, Ecobat Battery Technologies
“Just wanted to say a huge thank you for the invite to the Doosan golf day. Rich and I had a fantastic day and the event was really well organised and the weather was perfect (as was the golf)”
– Ross Munro, Business Development Manager, Transmon Engineering Ltd.
Doosan would just like to say a huge “Thank You” to all that took part and donated to these worthwhile causes. The day was a great success and here’s to the next one in 2019.
